Mountain Mission Truck
The Mountain Mission Truck will be here on Tuesday, August 30th. Items should be placed in boxes and taken to the garage. Your generous donations are always greatly appreciated by those in need. Thank You.

United Methodist Women
The UMW will be taking donations for health kits which cost $10 each. The UMW will purchase the items and then have a “Packing Party” to assemble the kits at noon on Thursday, September 15th. These kits are distributed worldwide. What a great way to help someone in need.

Chicken Dinner
The United Methodist Men’s Annual Chicken Dinner will be Saturday, September 10th from 4:00-7:00pm. Yard signs are available in the entry way for those members that would like to place one in their yard.

Church Cleaning Crews
We are still maintaining the cleaning of the Church with volunteer help. Please contact Laura Gellert or the Church Office if you would like to volunteer your time and join a crew.

Africa Mission Trip
A mission trip is being planned to Senegal, Africa on January 12-22, 2012. The team will be doing various work projects including finishing the Thiadiaye UMC building. The team is limited to 10 members and will cost around $3,000. Contact Harry Lyness for more information.
